Step-by-Step Fix

Step 1

Press Windows + R → Type %temp% → Select all files → Delete all → Press Windows + R → Type temp → Delete all files there too → Try installation again

Disable User Account Control

Control Panel → User Accounts → Change User Account Control settings → Move slider to Never Notify → Click OK → Restart computer → Try installation again → Re-enable UAC after installation

QuickBooks Tool Hub → Installation Issues → QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool → This fixes damaged Microsoft .NET Framework and C++ components that cause Error 1603 → Restart after completion

Repair Microsoft .NET Framework

Control Panel → Programs → Programs and Features → Find every version of Microsoft .NET Framework → Right click each → Repair → Restart between each repair → Try QuickBooks install again

Download QuickBooks Clean Install Tool → Remove all previous QuickBooks installations completely → Restart computer → Install QuickBooks fresh → Restore company file from backup
